Eliza Newman-Saul


Eliza is a ux designer and researcher based in Seattle, Washington. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Human Computer Interaction + Design at the University of Washington. Prior to returning to grad school Eliza worked as a Visual Artist who created large scale research project based out of New York and Amsterdam. Her work has been exhibited at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Witte de With, Artspeak, and PS1 as well as galleries throughout the U.S. and Europe. She completed a 2 year residency at de ateliers in Amsterdam in 2009.

Eliza has had a number of professional roles in technology, non-profits and business development. 

Eliza has found her place in the design world. Her diverse background bring a wealth of ideas and comfort working with a wide range of users. She is looking for opportunities in New York City starting September 1.



Founded and runs a business managing and restoring historic properties. The oldest was from 1790s.

Has worked as a writer and editor for textbooks, art catalogs and creative ventures. Her writings appeared in N+1's first pamphlet publication and Performance Research Journal (Taylor and Francis). 



Was a development associate at an organization that works with chronically homeless women, written a number of successful grants and set up CRMs for arts organizations.
